About HeftySend

HeftySend was founded by William Sutton, a successful software founder from the Isle of Man. He is well known for building one of the most successful Shopify apps for selling and delivering digital downloads, which has helped thousands of stores securely handle everything from small PDFs to massive files, delivering millions of downloads every month.

William started his career as a professional filmmaker and video editor, which gave him firsthand experience with the frustrations of sharing large files online, such as raw footage and project edits with clients. Existing transfer services were either too restrictive, suspending transfers because of bandwidth usage, slow, or unreliable.

Drawing on that real-world pain point, William used his talented development team in the UK to create a better solution. Bringing the knowledge gained from scaling a large digital product delviery app on Shopify, and brining that to HeftySend.

HeftySend launched in 2025 on the beautiful Isle of Man, built from the ground up to be both powerfully capable and incredibly simple to use.

The mission is straightforward: to make sharing large files seamless, reliable, and even enjoyable, while delivering robust tools that modern professionals, creators, and businesses truly need.
